License & Rights
What may be shared from this site, on what terms — and what was never the author’s to license.
The author’s own work
© 2026 Charles A. Murphree. The author’s own layer on this site — the Claim Ledger audits, the Consolidated Edition’s revisions and apparatus, Utantia’s commentary as it appears, and the site’s own texts — is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC 4.0).
Under that license, you may share and adapt this work freely, for noncommercial purposes, so long as you attribute it to Charles A. Murphree. The license’s canonical text is kept by Creative Commons: the CC BY-NC 4.0 deed at creativecommons.org.
Print rights
One reservation stands alongside the license: print publication rights in the author’s own layer are reserved to the author.
What this license does not cover
- The 1955 text of The Urantia Book is public domain in the United States. It is not the author’s to license, and this license does not touch it.
- The King James Version of the Bible — Utantia’s base text — is likewise public domain.
- Quotations from those texts stand under their own status, not under this license.
- The Paramony is the work of Duane L. Faw and remains his. This site uses it as an index of references — a map of where the passages meet — and nothing here relicenses it.
This site is an independent scholarly work, not affiliated with, sponsored, or endorsed by the Urantia Foundation; the word Urantia is used descriptively only.
